DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN CAIRO

Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Reception by a Spanish-speaking assistant and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.


DAY 2 CAIRO – TRAIN TO LUXOR (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will take a panoramic tour of the Three Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Khafre, and Mecerinus, the architectural complex considered the most important of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We will admire the Great Sphinx, with a human head attributed to King Khafre and the body of a lion, and visit the Temple of Khafre. In the afternoon, we will head to the Citadel of Saladin, a World Heritage Site, which includes the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the "Alabaster Mosque." We will continue today's visits with a guided tour of the Grand Museum (GEM), the largest museum in the world. During the tour, we will see the museum courtyard, which includes the great statue of King Ramses II, the Grand Staircase, and the 13 newly opened galleries where we can see the treasures of Tutankhamun. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. At the end of the tour, transfer to the train station. Departure around 8:00 PM on a sleeper train. Dinner and overnight stay.


DAY 3 LUXOR - CRUISE (B, L, D)

Arrival in Luxor around 06:00h. Breakfast on the train and transfer to the motor ship to embark on the Nile cruise. Lunch on board. Visit to the Karnak Temple or Karnak Temples, considered the largest temple in Egypt with its avenue of rams and its hall of 132 columns and visit to the Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun - Ra, where the avenue of sphinxes stands out, the Obelisk with more than 25 meters of height, the statues of Ramses II and the Naos. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.


4 DAY CRUISE - LUXOR – ESNA – EDFU (B, L, D)

Full board on board. Visit to the Valley of the Kings where the tombs of the kings of the New Kingdom are located when Thebes was the capital of Egypt, visit to the mortuary temple of Hatchepsut. In the enclosure, we can admire the chapels dedicated to Amenardis I, Shepenupet II and Nitocris I. Then, we find the Colossi of Memnon, two seated colossi of Pharaoh Ramses II, of which only fragments of the base and the 17-meter-high torso remain. Sailing to Esna and passing through the lock. Sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu.


5 DAY CRUISE - EDFU – KOM OMBO - ASWAN (B, L, D)

Full board on board. Visit to the Temple of Horus. It is the best preserved temple in Egypt and the most important after Karnak. One of its most curious features is the lighting of the temple, with increasingly smaller rooms that prevented the passage of light gradually until reaching the dark sanctuary, which receives light only from the axis. Navigation to Kom Ombo. Visit to the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroreis. In this temple, the relief of the medicinal instruments stands out above all. Over the years, the people of this town did not like to be associated with a god who represents evil (Sobek), so they added another god, Haroreis, as his brother and partner in the temple cult. Legend has it that Sobek, the evil brother, plotted against his brother Haroreis and the population when he saw his beloved god leave the town, he also left until leaving the town completely deserted. 6 DAY CRUISE - ASWAN (B, L, D)

Full board. Visit to the High Dam, considered the largest dam in the world at the time, with a body of 3,800 meters and 111 meters high, visit to the Unfinished Obelisk with its height of 42 meters and weight of 1,176 tons in the pink granite quarries and visit to the Philae temple or temple of the goddess ISIS built in the Greek era and transfer to Egelikia Island to save it from the waters of the Nile after making the dam.
