DAY 1.- SANTA CRUZ – ISABELA. Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, our guide will welcome you and guide you to the buses that will take us to the Itabaca Channel. We will cross by public ferry to Santa Cruz Island. Our transportation will be ready for the transfer to Puerto Ayora for a nutritious lunch. Afterward, we will head to the dock to take a speedboat to Isabela Island. It will take approximately 2 hours to sail. Our transportation will be waiting to take us to settle in at the hotel and then serve us dinner.
Day 2 - ISABELA. Breakfast. Following our guide's instructions, we will arrive at the scheduled time to begin our day. We will begin by visiting the interpretation center where we will find captive turtles and beautiful gardens with an island-like atmosphere, composed of native plants. Then, we will head along a path that leads to the flamingo pool where we can observe fauna typical of this ecosystem. LUNCH - then we will take the tour to Tintoreras Islet, located south of Puerto Villamil. In the middle of a bay of calm turquoise waters, you can see sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays, etc. There is a crevice to observe tintoreras sharks. Most of the path is lava. You can also usually see some species of birds such as penguins, boobies, and pelicans. Transfer to the hotel and dinner.
Day 3.- ISABELA – SANTA CRUZ. Breakfast, we will take our ferry very early in the morning at 5:30 am from Puerto Villamil to head towards Puerto Ayora Santa Cruz where our transfer driver will take us to our hotel for accommodation and later lunch. In the afternoon we will have our fabulous BAY TOUR. Which consists of a 15 to 20 minute navigation through the Bay in the open sea departing from the passenger pier. We will visit La Lobería, where you can enjoy a unique and unparalleled experience swimming and snorkeling with sea lions, sea turtles, reef fish. We will visit the Shark Channel, where we can observe the barranco tintoreras that are totally harmless, then we will visit the Canal del Amor with crystal-clear waters, Playa de los Perros, Minas de Sal to later reach the famous place of "Las Grietas" an arm of the sea located between two cliffs of natural water; Finally, we'll enjoy Los Alemanes Beach, a spectacular place to relax on its sand. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 4 - SANTA CRUZ. After a delicious and nutritious breakfast, we'll begin our day with an excursion to Tortuga Bay, where we'll take a 45-minute walk to the beach. We'll follow a marked, relatively flat, cobblestone trail, redolent of palo santo and surrounded by local wildlife. We recommend always having sunscreen handy. Tortuga Bay is a beach approximately 2 km long, with white sand formed by fish bones and white coral. It's considered a sanctuary for iguanas, sea turtles, and other species. Here you can swim and enjoy activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking (private access at an additional cost). We'll then return to Puerto Ayora for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, where we'll observe giant tortoises endemic to the island, land iguanas, and finches along the trails. We'll also visit the Van Straelen Interpretation Center. We'll then enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5.- Transfer out Breakfast, ground transportation according to flight schedules.
