Day 1: Quito
Airport reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2: Quito – Cotopaxi - Quilotoa - Baños
Early morning departure from our designated hotels, traveling along the "Panamericana Sur" highway, where you will admire beautiful landscapes and diverse ecosystems, a clear example of the majesty of the Andes. We will continue to Cotopaxi National Park, reaching the foothills of the impressive active volcano. We will visit the Park Museum, Limpiopungo Lagoon, and, after an interesting hike, we will reach the forest of chuquirahuas at 4200 meters above sea level (if time permits). We will then continue to the Quilotoa Volcano, which features a stunning turquoise lagoon in its crater, making it one of the most beautiful and photographed landscapes in Ecuador. We will take a short hike to appreciate the magnificent view of the volcano (if weather conditions allow).Free time for lunch (not included). Afterwards, transfer to Baños and accommodation.
Day 3: Baños - Quito
The next day, after breakfast, you will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, where you will observe the traditional making of "Melcocha," a handmade candy crafted on a wooden log. You will visit the colonial-style church located in the center of the town, home to the Virgin of Agua Santa, to whom many miracles are attributed. You will also visit the Huillacuna Museum, which houses unique objects that have shaped the town's history, and learn about the thermal pools, a major tourist attraction for their medicinal benefits.
In the afternoon, after lunch (not included), you will have the opportunity to visit the impressive "Pailon del Diablo" waterfall. On the way back to town, you will stop at the "La Casa del Arbol" viewpoint and take a spectacular photo on the Swing at the End of the World, admiring an extraordinary view of the Tungurahua Volcano. If you are an adventure sports enthusiast and prefer to feel the adrenaline, after the morning city tour, you will have the opportunity to go rafting or canyoning (additional cost), depending on availability and weather conditions during your visit. Return to town, and in the late afternoon, head back to Quito.
